GCBAcohortswill
begin their course of study in the fall term of the academic year. Students who
do not meet the TOEFL or IELTS minimum requirements for the regular GCBA program
can start the international GCBA program with intensive English preparation
prior to the start of the regular fall GCBA cohort. Those who maintain a 3.0 (B)
grade point average during their intensive English study, with no individual
course grades below a B- (2.7), will be eligible to continue in the program.

Music business administration (as
an executive in recording, talent management, producing, publishing and
copyright administration, music products, music supervision, and live
entertainment)
Marketing or licensing music (as
a producer, publishing administrator, music supervisor, or music clearance
specialist)
Promoting and publicizing music (as
a marketing, publicity, or public relations specialist)
Presenting live performances (as
a talent agent, concert promoter, concert producer, tour manager)
Assisting performers with their careers (as
a talent agent, personal manager, business manager)

to MA in Music Industry Administration Pathway for International Applicants
International applicants who do not meet the above English language proficiency
criteria, but do meet the criteria below, can apply to our IEP-MIA pathway. If
accepted, students will take IEP and MIA classes simultaneously for the first
two semesters of study. Tutoring will also be mandatory and provided as a part
of the IEP component.
PTE Academic – Pearson's Test of
English with a score of 59 or higher.*.
*Students who take and earn a minimum of a 7 on the IELTS, or equivalent, during
the first term of study will not be required to take IEP during the second term.
