Baruch教了十幾年英文）Shira Seaman, Academic
Director, is one of the founders of
Global English Academy. She has had a
long career in the ESL world with over
20 years of teaching and administrative
experience. She holds a Bachelor's
Degree in English from Oberlin College
and a Master's Degree in Teaching
English to Speakers of Other Languages (TESOL)
from Hunter College, CUNY. In addition
to teaching ESL at the International
English Language Institute (IELI) at
Hunter College for 18 years, Shira was
the Academic Coordinator of the program
for over 7 years. She has also taught in
the English Department at Baruch
College, at the Institute for Language
and Culture at Fordham University as
well as in the Master's in TESOL Program
at Hunter College. Shira has a love of
languages as well as a love of teaching
and she speaks German, Swiss German and
Spanish.
Angela Youngju
Cho 行政長 Administrative
Director
安其拉也在紐約市立大學拿到英語教學碩士學位Angela Youngju Cho,
Administrative Director, is one of the
founders of Global English Academy. She
is a native Korean speaker who learned
English as a Second Language (ESL)
herself. After completing her Master's
Degree in Teaching English to Speakers
of Other Languages (TESOL) at Hunter
College, CUNY, she taught ESL at Hunter
College and Medgar Evers College and
worked as an administrator in the
International English Language Institute
(IELI) at Hunter College. Her passion
and dedication for ESL come from her own
learning and teaching experiences and
she believes anyone can learn at any
phase of his or her life.

Chen 學生主任 Director of
Student Services
Qing Chen,
Director of Student Services, is one of
the founders of Global English Academy.
She has had a career in Foreign Student
Advising involving English as a Second
Language for more than 12 years. Her
devotion and passion for students have
led her to continue her career in
Immigration Law. An Immigrant herself,
fluent in English, Cantonese and
Mandarin, she is ready to assist
students in need.
