芝加哥伊利諾大學 (UIC) 簡介

伊利諾大學始建於1867年，是美國十所最大的州立大學之一。大學共有三個校區：芝加哥校區、厄巴那香檳校區和春田校區。目前芝加哥校區共有一萬一千多名教職員工及兩萬五千多名在校學生，是芝加哥地區最大的一所結合教學、科研和開發為一體的綜合性高等教育院校。

UIC 校區共占地三百二十二英畝，擁有一百一十座教學辦公樓、兩個大型圖書館，除科研以外的財政預算超過十億美元。UIC 在九十二個學科中授予學士學位，在八十八個專業中授予碩士學位，在五十一個領域中授予博士學位，其在校生中大約三分之一為研究生。美國卡耐基高等教育基金會特別 UIC一類科研院校的稱號，在全美三千兩百所經承認的高等院校中，只有八十八所被授予此項榮譽稱號

UIC 的教學及科研實力為全國所公認，其主要的學術分支機搆包括：建築及藝術學院、衛生保健中心、商學院、牙醫學院、教育學院、工程學院、醫學院、人文科學學院、護理學院、藥學院、城市規劃及公用事業學院、簡亞當斯社會工作學院、 榮譽學院、研究生學院、公共衛生學院以及醫療中心等

UIC 擁有良好的完善的學生服務設施和網路，東西兩校園都有條件很好的學生宿舍和學生活動中心。學校的十餘個現代化電腦中心分佈在兩個校園的各處教學樓中，免費提供給學生使用，其中部分電腦中心為晝夜開放。其他學生活動設施還包括：兩個標準室內游泳池，一個短池室內游泳池，多個網球場，多個室內籃球場和健身房。為方便學生和教職員工，學校有免費的空調車定時往來於校園各主要教學樓之間。另外，校園內還設有餐飲店、銀行、書店、髮廊、課間休息室、聚會廳等多項服務設施

(2) MBA in International Management (MBA-IM) 一年課程

54學分為24核心學分(core),30個研究所課程(advanced). The courses are scheduled in a number of modules of varying length over the 12-month period depending on the starting date of the program. Course descriptions are available. The tuition cost of the program starting in Spring 2006 is $26,000. (學費2萬6千美元) Other fees such as health insurance, housing, textbooks, etc. are not included.

The UIC College of Business Administration is one of the first business schools in the U.S. to offer an intensive, 12-month MBA to carefully selected groups of international managers. The MBA in International Management (MBA-IM) is designed to advance the careers of professionals by enhancing their understanding of International Management and technology. The program is a joint effort between UIC and the business community in Chicago to provide up-to-date knowledge in theory and practice in International Management

A university degree equivalent to a U.S. baccalaureate degree with satisfactory grades (大學畢)
Analytical and quantitative skills 數學能力 (送件後由學校評估)

(3)Master of Business Administration in Financial Markets and Risk Management For International Managers 一年課程

The UIC MBA/FMRM program has a unique advantage of being situated in the city of Chicago, where the world's largest options exchanges, the Chicago Board Options Exchange (CBOE), two of the largest futures exchanges in the world, the Chicago Board of Trade (CBOT) and the Chicago Mercantile Exchange (CME), and the third largest stock exchange in the U.S., the Chicago Stock Exchange, are located. The city also has the presence of many large multinational securities and futures firms. This environment will provide students with many opportunities to interact with leading experts in the industry and to learn the most advanced technology being used
